JOHN: graduated from MTTI  (Massage Therapy Training Institute) in 1994.  He taught Reflexology and Chinese Somatic Therapy Techniques and Rieki there until 2005.  He is additionaly trained in deep tissue work and myofascial release.   John has been working at Alpha since 1996 and is available Mondays 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.,  Wednesdays 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. , Fridays 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Saturdays 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

KEVIN: has been practicing massage since 2002.   Kevin’s techniques include sports massage, orthopedic massage, somato- emotional release, myofascial release techniques and Reiki. Kevin is a Reiki Master and is currently finishing his certification in Craniosacral Therapy with the Upledger Institute.  In addition to providing therapy here at Alpha Chiropractic, he also teaches advanced massage techniques at M T T I.  Kevin works at Alpha Monday mornings 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and all day Fridays 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.  

NECIA: is a massage practitioner in private practice for 26 years. She primarily uses Swedish (classical) massage technique and has studied and incorporated Shiatsu, trigger point technique, lomi-lomi and a host of other philosophies and techniques into her massage style. She founded and directed the Heartland School of Massage from 1988-1994 and was an instructor for Johnson County Community College's Certified Massage Program for 6 years. Necia has been working with us at Alpha Chiropractic Center since 2003 and is available on Wednesday afternoons from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

SHARLEEN: graduated from Lunaria Bodywork Institute in Lawrence, Kansas in 2001 and started working at Alpha Chiropractic Center in June of 2002.  She has a wide range of techniques from the light and slow contact of Craniosacral to full body relaxation work, to deep tissue myofascial release work.  She is also trained in Kurashova Technique which is for relief of Fibromyalgia symptoms and is a Level II Reiki practitioner.  She works at Alpha all day Mondays and Wednesdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Thursday afternoons from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

STEPHANIE: has been working at Alpha Chiropractic Center since 1997.  She excels in deep tissue work, which she has been doing for 25 years.  She is also an R.N. at Research Hospital Surgical Dept.  She works at Alpha on Thursdays from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Friday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

TYLER: is professionally trained in Cranio-Sacral, Thai Massage, Acupressure, and Myofascial Release Techniques.  He is certified in Body Somatics, Zen Shiatsu, Reiki Master and as an educator for Massage and Ancillary Therapies.  Tyler has seven years experience in private practice as well as teaching and assisting Body Somatics, Traditional Chinese Medicing, Wholistic Energy Healing and Zen Shiatsu.  Tyler is available at Alpha on Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
